MMPR Celebrates One Year of Powerhouse Public Relations
Updated: Jan 29
All-female PR firm caters to lifestyle clients across Canada seeking dual marketing in English and French
November, 2 2021 (Vancouver, BC): Vancouver-based public relations agency MMPR has a lot to celebrate on its first anniversary! In addition to a client roster of emerging and recognized Canadian brands, the agency is expanding across the country thanks to a new partnership with Montréal-based content marketing firm Substance / Radiance.
Started in 2020 by Marika Mousseau, a French-Canadian PR and digital marketing specialist, MMPR employs a strategic combination of media relations, media buying and digital marketing to help brands share their stories with English and French audiences. Having worked at internationally renowned PR firms in Australia, the UK and Canada, Marika is particularly adept at spearheading local and international PR and influencer marketing campaigns and helping companies seamlessly transition their marketing between the English and French markets.
“This first year has been an incredible journey – challenging, but also exciting and rewarding,” said Marika Mousseau, founder. “I’m so proud of the MMPR team for dedicating themselves to our clients, and always exceeding expectations. Our ability to offer services in two languages, and adapt marketing campaigns to each culture, has really set us apart from other agencies. I’m grateful to our clients for recognizing this and giving us the opportunity to work with them and help to elevate their brands.”
Over the past year, MMPR has grown into a powerhouse team of seven women who are experts in PR, digital marketing, design, copywriting and branding – all united by a passion for generating results. The agency recently teamed up with Montréal-based Agence Substance, a relationship that will expand MMPR’s offerings across Canada and the US while offering clients a 360˚ approach in French and English.
MMPR’s current clients span lifestyle and travel brands such as Evive Nutrition, truLOCAL, Humble Potato Chips, Sappho New Paradigm, Spud.ca, Tourisme Colombie-Britannique, Diosa Designs and Oat Canada. Thanks to the new partnership with Agence Substance, that list has expanded to Saputo, Armstrong Cheese, Les Aliments du Québec, Viridis Terra, and Le Germain Hôtel Montreal.
“We’re very excited to partner with Agence Substance – their team is incredibly versatile and forward-thinking, and we’ll be able to service our clients in an even more targeted and creative way,” said Mousseau. “Plus, having partners across Canada means we can further amplify our marketing and expand awareness of our clients and their incredible offerings.”
